DELAYED AT NANDI
DCB Needed Spare Part (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 17. An Air New Zealand DCB bound for Auckland from Los Angeles was held up in Nandi for eight hours last night while a spare part for its oxygen equipment was repaired in Auckland. The aircraft, which had been due in Auckland at 9.50 last night, arrived at 5.45 a.m. today.
Another DCB due to leave Auckland for Nandi at 9.30 p.m. was held in Auckland for several hours last night while the spare part was serviced. It then flew the part to the plane waiting at Nandi.
