New S.E.A.T.O. Chief Named
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) BANGKOK, Jan. 17. Brigadier-General Williams Jones Meng, of the United States, has been appointed Deputy Chief of the military planning office of the Southeast Asia Treaty Organisation, it has been announced in Bangkok. He will replace on February 1 Brigadier-General Victor M. Osias, of the Philippines Air Force.
