Ballet Wins Praise
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LOS ANGELES, January 6. The Australian Ballet Company last night concluded its third and final American performance before a full house in the Los Angeles Music Centre. The administrator of the ballet, Mr Bruce Scott, said the company, which has Rudolf Nureyev and Dame Margot Fonteyn as guest stars, was “very pleased” with its reception. Although Nureyev and Miss Fonteyn won a large share of the praise for the performances, newspaper critics also had praise for the company as a whole.
