AUSTRALIAN CAPTAIN WINS WAIAU SHOOT
The captain of the visiting Australian team, E. Henderson, narrowly won the Canterbury Rifle Association’s A grade shoot at Waiau. He scored an aggregate of 130, one point ahead of the runner-up, W. Oakley (Malvern). V. Percy, of the Kiwi club in Dunedin, won the B grade and L. Ching, of Ashburton, won the C grade. Possibles were fired by B. Hoban, Percy and Mrs R. E. Taylor.
