PUBLIC NOTICES WAIPARA COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN NOTICE Is hereby given that the Waipara County Council proposes at its meeting to be held on the Thirty-first day of January, 1956, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Authorities Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of Fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) for the purposes of meeting part of the cost of constructing works to provide a piped rural water supply in the Scarglll-Motunau and adjacent districts of the Waipara County and inciden tai expenses in connexion therewith. The security for the loan shall be a special rate of decimal point one (.1) of a penny in the £ on the capital value of all rateable propertv in the Waipara County. It is not proposed to levy or collect the above-mentioned special rate but to meet the and fees levied pursuant to Sections lIS to 120 of The Counties Act, 1950. and or such other sources of revenue other than the said special rate that may be from time to time available for the purpose. Any person having any objection to the proposed application Is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Waipara County Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting. That the entranceways from Arthur street and Suva street be developed and maintained in a tidy condition. 3. That the proposed building be erected to accordance with the amended plans and specifications submitted, marked as Plan No. 3 and dated 16/11/65. 4. That remedial action be taken by the school authorities to prevent ponding of surface water, on adjoining properties, caused by filling taking place on the school grounds. 5. That the siting and height of the proposed building be as shown on Plan No. 3, dated 16/11/65. Any person wishing to make representations against the proposal must lodge them to writing with the undersigned not later than noon on 24th January, 1966, giving the reasons and stating whether that person wishes to be heard by the Committee considering the application. A Hearing of Objections, in regard to the proposla, wilt take place in the Council Chambers, Fendalton, on Thursday, January 27, 1966. at 7.30 p.m.
