Stored Stolen Jewellery

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 2. On a charge of receiving stolen jewellery valued at £659 3s 6d Kenneth Keith Cox, aged 21, a driver, was sentenced to a year’s imprisonment by Mr A. A. Coates, S.M., on Saturday. Sergeant D. E. Henderson said Cox had been asked to look after the stolen goods for a period. Later the man reclaimed the jewellery and Cox was paid £5O for looking after it. None of the jewellery had been recovered and I the police were still searching !for the man concerned in the i robbery.
