PUBLIC NOTICES HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL 1 WATER WORKS LOAN No. 2 1965 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Heathcote County Council at a Special Meeting held in the County Office, 12 Whersteade road, Cashmere, Christ- : church, on Thursday, December 16, 1965, passed the following Resolution: “That in Pursuance and Exercise of the Powers vested in it by the Counties Act, 1956, and the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, and all Amendments hereto, the Heathcote County Council by virtue of the sanction of the Local Authorities Loans Board granted at a Meeting of the Board held on December 7, 1965, hereby resolves as follows: 1. That the Heathcote County Council proceed to raise a loan of £50,000 for the purpose of purchasing land for a Reservoir and Well, constructing a complete Water Reticulation Scheme for Domestic and Industrial Users of the < North East portion of the Hills borough Riding and the Valley Riding. 2. That the Loan will be known as the Water Works Loan No. 2—1965 hereinafer referred to as the said Loan. 3. The term for which the said Loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be twenty years. 4 The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan of any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the Lender or Lenders a rate or rates exceeding five and one quarter per cent per annum. 5. The said Loan or any part thereof together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half yearly instalments extending over the term as determined in Clause 3 hereof. - 6. The payment of all such instalments shall be made in New Zealand and no such instalments shall be paki out of Loan money. 7. The rate payable for broker age in respects of the raising of the said Loan or any part thereof shall not exceed one half per cent of any amount raised. 8.
