Police Seek Witnesses
The Christchurch police are seeking witnesses of an accident in which a man and his wife were struck by a car in Riccarton road, near Church corner, about 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
i Alfred Robert Day, of 9 Hillary ■ crescent, was fatally injured. His wife, who suffered head and leg injuries, was admitted to hospital, and her condition is satisfactory. Any person who saw the accident is asked to get in touch immediately with the motor accident inquiry office at the Christchurch Central Police Station.
