MORE MONEY LENT
Stock Firms’ Figures More money had been advanced by stock and station agencies at September 30 last than at the same date in 1964. Advances to customers totalled £58.3m, an increase of £lom in the year, says the December Abstract of Statistics.
There was an increase of £3.lm in deposits held by stock and station agencies at September 30, the Abstract says. Deposits totalled £ll.7ra, compared with £B.6m a year earlier. Customers’ credit balances with agencies (on current account) totalled £14.1m, as against £13.9m a year earlier.
