New Barriers Installed
Barrier arms were installed at the Curletts road and Annex road railway crossings at the end of November, and both were working well, the railways signals branch said yesterday. The Annex road crossing was equipped previously with flashing lights, but there were no signals at the Curletts road crossing. The installation of the barriers is in line with the railways’ long-term policy of installing barriers at all double-track crossings.
