(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. Transport (Nelson) Holdings, Ltd., has boosted interim net profit by 25.3 per cent in the six months to September 30. The tax-paid profit, unaudited, for that period was £45,138 compared with £36,010 in the comparable period of 1964. Taxation provision for the half-year is £9308 up at £42,683 and expenditu. - rises by £26,366 to £477,451. Higher Revenue
However, total revenue for the period climbed by £44,802 to £565,272.
The unchanged 4{ per cent interim dividend requires a steady £20,959. Shareholders’ funds, after provision for the interim dividend, payable in March, stand at £801,929. The chairman, Mr J. Newman, said a continuation of the current favourable trading conditions seemed likely.
