O’NEILL TO LEAD XI
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. N. C. O’Neill has been appointed captain of the New South Wales side to play Queensland in a Sheffield Shield game in Sydney, from December 31 to January 4. Four New South Wales players will be in Melbourne for the second test.
The team is: O’Neill, B. Rothwell, G. Corling, G. Davies, G. Goffet, R. Guy, M. Hill, J. Martin, D. Renneberg, B. Taber, G. Thomas, K. Owen (twelfth man).
