M anufactu revs’ Delegation (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. Mr R. H. Stewart, managing director of P.D.L. Industries, Ltd., Christchurch, and a past president of the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation, has been appointed leader of the federation’s trade delegation to visit South-east Asia in April and May. ‘
Mr R. T. Alston, secretary of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association, has been appointed secretary of the delegation. “The delegation will be a follow-up to last year’s official trade mission to the area, and the keen interest which has been shown by manufacturers in this venture is evidence of their recognition of the opportunities which exist in these markets and the need for unceasing efforts to develop them,” said the president of the federation, Mr J. R. Maddren.
