AUCKLAND, Dec. 22. A bottle of beer shaken vigorously, was used to put out a car fire in Kawakawa last night. Sonny Tauterl, of Kawakawa, was driving his car

in the Main street when it burst into flames. Three youths with the aid of a bottle of beer, had the fire out before the Kawakawa Volunteer Fire Brigade arrived. Damage was confined to wiring and paintwork.
