CHAMPION COW.—Mrs Frost with R. W. Frost’s champion Cow, the seven-year-old Pineleigh Primrose, at the Canterbury Jersey cattle show at the Rangiora Show Grounds on Saturday. The cow has a prominent show record, having won at the three shows held in conjunction with the World Jersey cattle conference at Hamilton, Palmerston North, and Rangiora last season. At this season’s spring shows it was champion Jersey cow at Rangiora and Canterbury Metropolitan. On Saturday it was Judged also the best-uddered cow or heifer and the best female in milk carrying the exhibitor’s prefix (bred by exhibitor).
