- Fellowships Awarded (N.X. Pr«»« At*ociatUm> WELLINGTON, Dec. 20. Two members of the staff of Massey University had been awarded Norman Cunningham Fellowships, said Dr. J. P. James, president of the New Zealand Veterinary Association. The awards were to Professor D. A. Titchen, to study of the excretion of sodium, potassium and water in the urine of horses and the variation of these with feeding, and to Dr. R. D. Jolly, to study virus papular dermatitis of horses. The fellowship was provided under the will of the late Mr Norman Cunningham, a prominent trainer, of Takininl, for research into animal welfare, especially of thoroughbred racehorses in New Zealand.
