Abu Taleb, of the United Arab Republic, took another step towards bringing off a hat-trick of wins when he reached the final of the British open squash rackets championship on Monday. In a match full of brilliant strokes, he beat his countryman, Tewfik Shafik, in a semifinal, 6-9. 9-7. 7-9, 9-2, 8-3, in 52 minutes. Taleb will meet A. A, Jawaid. the Pakistani holder of the British amateur title, in the final. Jawaid beat another Egyptian. Kemal Zaghloul. 9-7, 9-4, 9-6, in the other semi-final.
