fN.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SAIGON, Dec. 21. American troops ambushed a Viet Cong unit holding four captured workers from an American construction company early today, the Associated Press reported. They rescued three of the men unharmed but the fourth was killed by a burst of sub-machine-gun fire from his guard. The men, two Americans, a Dutch national and a Vietnamese driver, were employed by the R.M.K. International Construction Combine at a quarry 15 miles north-east, of Saigon. They were seised by the Viet Cong yesterday afternoon.
