New Hotel Tenders

(N.Z. Preu AetociaUon) DUNEDIN, Dec. 20. The Southern Cross Hotel will go ahead with tenders for its construction expected to be called early in the new year and the management of the Grand Hotel will be taken over on January 25. The chairman of the provisional board of directors, Sir Leonard Wright, said the company would proceed to allotment this week and applications for shares would close on Friday. “More than 600 applications have been received of which about 95 per cent have come from Dunedir and Otago.” The amount subscribed so far was more than enough to enable the company to go to allotment but a limited number of shares were still available to those interested
