S.P.A.N.Z. ASSETS
Tenders To Be Called (N.Z. Freis Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 20. Tenders for the sale of South Pacific Airlines of New Zealand's assets are expected to be called by the end of this week. The receiver, Mr L. N. Ross, said tonight that schedules of assets were almost completed. Tenders would be Invited for the purchase of the business either as a going concern or in Individual lots, said Mr Ross. He would receive tenders until the middle of February.
Mr Ross said he had already had requests for information from parties interested in buying the three DC3 aircraft and spares. Arrangements with the National Airways Corporation to fulfil bookings already made with S.P.A.N.Z. had been extended to February 28, said Mr Ross.
