Improvement Noted/ The giveway algne op the Deans avenue approach to the Warper avenue -Fendfftton road-Deans avenue Mhneotton were working very well at off-peak periods and had eliminated confusion, said the Christchurch City Council traffic superintendent (Mr J. F. Thomas). At peak periods toe sign would also Wort well once motorists bad become used to it. At present a traffic officer was watching too intersection at peak and directing motorists if un> familiarity caused delay.
