Paintings Sold For £2300

(N.Z. Prett Aitociatlon) AUCKLAND, Dec. 18. Tomorrow is the last day & the exhibition of landscape paintings by the New Zealand artist Peter Williams at an Auckland store and only five of 89 paintings are left for sale. The paintings so far sold have fetched nearly £2300. Mr Williams said he was greatly encouraged by the “clean sweep” and if he remaining five paintings did not sell he was going to send them to Wellington to a dealer who was anxious to have some of bis paintings.
