APPOINTED PROVINCIAL
Rev. Brother Pastor (iY.Z. Preu Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 16. _ The Rev. Brother Pastor has been appointed Provincial of the New Zealand Province of Marist Brothers, by the General Administration of Marist Brothers in Rome. Brother Pastor was born in Kerrytown, South Canterbury, and received his early education at the Kerrytown Convent School He entered the Marist Brothers* Training College at Tuakau in 1938 and commenced his novitiate training in 1939. After completing his training he taught at Sacred Heart College, Auckland, and at Xavier College, Christchurch, where be completed an arts degree at the University of Canterbury. He was director of Xavier College from 198* to 1960 and became director of Sacred Heart College in 198 L
