MELBOURNE Demand for sugar scrip featured on an otherwise auhdued industrials section on the Melbourne Stock Exchange yesterday. Moves were about 'ln balance but moat leaden easad slightly. Base metals were steady. Mary Kathleen fell by 5s to 19s 6d after the chairman’s statement that he knew of no reason for the recent rise. Oils were steady and quiet.
