Mild weather resulted in reduced interest being shown in most commodities on the Smithfield Market, London, this week, says the Meat Board’s information service. Moderate pitaMngs of New Zealand lamb sold at slightly reduced prices.

Nev season’s New Zeeland lamb was quoted at 30}d to 31|d per lb tor 281 b and under and 28}d to 29jd per lb for 29/361b. There was a slow inquiry for New Zealand mutton at nominal prices. The main grade of wethers (49/561b) sold at 15d per lb and ewes at 10jd per lb. Price Range Quotations for New Zealand lamb were:—
