Prices were again easier over a wider range when trading came to a close for die week yesterday. New Zealand Breweries moved up 2d to 13s 3d, J. Wattie recovered 2d to 18s 2d, while Northern Steam rose 7d to 6s Id and Rothmans 3d to 22s 6d. South British lost another 3d to 30s 3d, Lane Walker 3d to 15s, Prestige 3d to Ils 6d, Reid Rubber 9d to 26s 3d, and Wilson and Horton Is to 235. Among Australian stocks Ampol rose 4d to 7s lid ex dividend and the 1967 notes 2d to 6s 7d, Australian Consolidated Industries recovered Is to 49s 6d and Broken Hill South rose 6d more to 24s 6d.
