ARTIFICIAL SKI SLOPE
Pre-Holiday Practice fN.Z.P.A.-Keuter—Copyright/ LONDON. So that Londoners could brush up their ski-ing before taking winter sports holidays, the Greater London Council built an artificial ski slope. Made of a plastic material, it can be used in winter or summer, whatever the weather conditions. The slope is the first of its kind made available by a British local authority.
BLOOD RECORD.—RoyaI Air Force servicemen and their wives have set up an all-time Singapore record for Mood donations. In one five-hour session, 300 Air Force men gm over 30 gallons of blood at the Royal Air Force base at Sefetar.
