£500,000 For Cup Soccer
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.f LONDON. Ticket sales for the World Cup soccer series in England next year have already topped the Christmas target Of £500,000. One sixth of the tickets available have been sold and the receipts are about onethird of the expected total income from ticket sales. Tickets have so far been sold to 89 countries and Brazil, holder of the World Cup, hewds the list with 4373. TMs month there have been considerable Increases in appttrattons from Ireland, Spain, Switzerland and West Germany.
