MISSILE TESTS

U.S. Rockets At Woomera tN.Z.IM.-lteuter—Copyright; WASHINGTON, Dec. 16. The planned tests with American Redstone rockets at Australia’s Woomera range will be important to the missile defence knowledge of both Britain and Australia, say United States sources. State Department officials reported that negotiations for a tripartite agreement between the three countries were in the final stages. The tests, from the American point of view, would provide valuable data on reentry vehicles in connexion with the American development of an anti-missile missile.
