Compromise Sought (N Z.P.A.-HtrUtr— Copyright/ NEW YORK, Dec. 16. Delegates to the General Assembly will make a final attempt today to reach a compromise between the sharply differing views on the Cyprus ttestton. Turkey supports- a four power draft which takes no positions on the controversial issues surrounding the Cyprus dispute. The draft would urge the Security Council to continue its work of mediation. It also includes an amendment accepted by Turkey, which calls on all States to abstain from acts directed against the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Cyprus.
