Churchman From India A prominent Indian churchman, Dr. William Stewart, principal of Serampore College, near Calcutta, will visit New Zealand next year. One of India’s foremost theological scholars, he was responsible for the development of the plan for church union in northern India.

He will meet members of the Church Union Commission at a meeting in Wellington on July 21 and 22.
