An Auckland engineer, Mr A. Bliss, has designed .a fourcylinder 986 c.c. rear-engined car which he thinks could be made and sold in New Zealand for about £9OO. It would have disc brakes, automatic transmission and independent suspension. The engine has been designed as a two-stroke, producing about 60 b.h.p. at 14,000 r.p.m. It would be aircooled. Mr Bliss says the project has become serious, and a prototype is in the early stages of development
