Contraband In Holmburn
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 16. Customs officers found contraband behind a panel screwed into the wall of a cabin abroad the Holmburn, Mr A. A. Coates, S.M.. was told today. The ship’s cook, Leslie Heath Ernest Inwood, failed to appear to answer a charge of falsifying a customs declaration by omitting two 11-inch television sets three transistor radios, six golf clubs, 2400 cigarettes, a fishing rod set. a bottle of perfume, and three hand-embroidered silk blouses. The Magistrate fined him £lOO.
