Mr E. Taylor, the landscape architect who has been with the City Council since July, 1945, will retire at the end of this week.
Mr A. C. Wright, a Dunsandel sheep farmer, was yesterday re-elected by graduates and diploma holders of Lincoln College to serve on the college council for a term of three years from January 1 next Mr Wright defeated Mr D. J. Hulston, of Waimate.
