Rangi-Rum School Prize-Giving

It was not only right and proper that private schools receive state aid but parents with children at private schools should be given a Government grant, said the chairman of the board of governors of Rahgi-ruru School, the Very Rev. M. W. Willson at the school’s prizegiving ceremony yesterday. People who wanted to build schools and bosteOs and work for the good of the community could not be expected to pay for it all. In these days of high taxes, the Government should help also, he said. If parents wanted to send their children to private schools, then the Government should help them bo do so.
