DIVING AT NAENAE
Men’s Event To A Winther (N.Z. Prats Association) WELLINGTON. A brilliant display of diving by th. former New Zealand champion and Australian Olympic representative, A. Winther, of Wellington, was the best performance at the Inaugural onemetre diving competition held in the Nae Nae pool on Sunday. In spite of the blustery conditions, which proved a big handicap, the standard was very high. Results:— Men: A. Wintber (Wellington), 130.(4 points, 1; B. Robinson (Hawke's Bay), 117.13, 2; J. Stewart (Otago), 108. U, S. Boys: M. Gazley (Wellington), 81.53, 1; C. Buscke (Bay of Plenty), 80.93, 2; P. Sell (Wanganui), 50.70. 3. Women: G. Morley (Hawke's Bay), 97.05, 1; K. Vincent (Waikato), 81.93, 2; S. Buscke (Bay of Plenty), 80.83, 3. Girls: K. Vincent (Waikato), 39.74, 1; M. Lay (Wellington), 50.12, 2; J. Radd (Nelson-Marl-borough), 48.87, 3.
