Turnover for the six trading mouths to September 30 was £20,415,519, representing a rise of about 12 per cent on the same period last year. Directors say that baaed on previous experience they would normally expect the next six months of trading to be even better. They beHeve there should be a note of caution on the results for the six months as they expect, and are prepared for possible down-turns in trading conditions. “Even if we have to face shortterm fluctuations, the wide diversification and flexibility of the group give us confidence in opr ability to progress and expand on sound and profitable lines,” the managing director (Mr J. C Fletcher) says in the report
