RETURN TO U.N.

Indonesia’s Conditions (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) DJAKARTA, Dec. 1. Indonesia would not return to the United Nations organisation until the United Nations Charter had been revised and the world body reorganised, the Indonesian Ambassador to the United States, Mr Lambertus Nicodemus Palar, has said, according to the official Antara news agency. The agency said he was commenting on rumours in the United Nations and Europe that Indonesia would re-apply for United Nations membership after Malaysia’s tenure in the Security Council expired. Mr Palar said Malaysia’s Security Council membership had nothing to do with whether Indonesia returned to the United Nations.
