Plans To Continue Flights To Central

(Xeto Zealand Press Association)

DUNEDIN, December 2

The possibility of Mount Cook Airlines providing an air service for Alexandra, Oamaru and Gore, to replace services now operated by S.P.A.N.Z. will be discussed in Christchurch tomorrow.

The general manager of N.A.C. (Mr D. A. Patterson) said tonight that in response to requests from the Otago Development Council, representatives of the corporation would meet Mr H. L. Wigley, managing-director of Mount

Cook Airlines, to discuss the question. It was proposed that Mt. Cook Airlines, in association with N.A.C., take over S.P.A.N.Z. services south of Christchurch. After the discussions, timetables would be drawn up to integrate Mount Cook Airlines services with those of N.A.C.
