This is a four months’ course and is open to holders of General and Midwifery Certificates. The Courses will consist of a j series of lectures and demon-, strations, and cover theoretical and clinical teaching in the care of the premature baby and neonate. 2. Cardiothoracic Nursing, Green Lane Hospital— To commence April 18, 1966 This is a six months’ course. The Course will consist of a series of lectures and demonstrations by the Medical and Nursing Staff, together with practical experience in the wards, theatre, and other departments. Approximately 41 months will be spent in the surgical and medical wards, one month in the Cardiothoracic theatre, and a fortnight attending the various special departments such as Angiocardiographic, Cardiac Catheter, Physiology and Surgical Development Laboratory The course is designed to cover the nursing of Thoracic and Cardiac diseases, and in particular the special investigations and management of patients requiring cardiac surgery using extra-corporeal circulation. 3. Plastic Surgical Nursing. Middlemore Hospital— To commence April 18, 1966 This is a six months’ course 4. Orthopaedic Nursing, Middlemore Hospital— To commence April 18. 1966.
