BUILDING SURVEY

Investigation Of Controls The New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation is conducting a cross-section survey of New Zealand industry to determine whether the building controls had held up development of industry in the country. The survey will be discussed at a meeting of the federation’s Dominion council in Wellington next week. The secretary of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association (Mr R. T. Alston) said the controls in Canterbury had caused a few delays, but no major project had been held up.
