Attack On Woman (N.Z. Prtts Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 1. A man Who attacked an elderly woman in her Parnell home on Friday night ran off after she had kicked out a window to attract attention. The Auckland police are canvassing the district in an attempt to build up a description of the man, who is believed to be a sex attacker active in the city during the last two years., The woman described her attacker as being aged between 20 and 30, of slim to medium build and of average height. The man entered the house about 12.30 a.m. by climbing through an insecurelyfastened window.

The woman, who lives alone, awoke to find him standing beside her bed. He threatened the woman and there was a struggle, in which she kicked out the window to attract attention. The attacker then ran off and the woman called for help. The alarm roused a male neighbour, who stopped a passing taxi 1 to call the police m the radio telephone.
