(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, November 1. Miss E. M. Nelson, a retired Invercargill school teacher, has been elected to the Otago University Council by the governing bodies of secondary schools. Miss Nelson is only the fourth woman member of the university council in its 96year history. She polled 13 votes against eight for Mr C. K. Melville and three for Mr H. J. A. Aitken.
