PLAYERS INJURED

Test Team Worries (From BRUCE MONTGOMERIE, N.Z.P.A. special correspondent.! ILKLEY. The New Zealand Rugby League team has injury worries with possible test players for the third test against Great Britain at Wigan on Saturday. The loose forward, G. V. Mattson, is unavailable and the second row forward, J. K. Dixon, and the centre, R. W. Bailey, are doubtful starters. Mattson still has injured ribs, and Bailey and Dixon have hand injuries. Bailey cut his hand in an accident on Sunday. It will not be known until later in the week whether he will be able to play. Dixon, who has a dislocated finger, will not be able to pass the ball for a couple of days but could be available.

The full-back, J. E. Fagan, who went off with a leg injury in the tourists’ last match against Wakefield, has recovered, and the utility forward, E. Moore, who was blinded in one eye against Swinton last Wednesday, is now fit.
