Coal Or Milk Trucks
Some milk vendors' trucks looked as if they carried coal by day and milk by night, said Mr W. E. Olds at a meeting of the Christchurch Metropolitan Milk Board yesterday. “One or two of the trucks are in a deplorable condition,” said Mr Olds. The chairman (Mr H. E. Denton) said that Mr J. 8, Swaney’ the board’s inspecting officer, would look into the matter.
