Seeking Pork Outlets
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 1. Auckland meat exporters are seeking new markets for mountimg surplus supplies of pork. Until the trichinosis scare earlier this year, surpluses of 2000 tons were taken by Australia.
A spokesman for one of the leading Auckland export companies said today that the Australian reluctance to accept New Zealand pork was creating problems. Alternative markets had to be found.
