Two Vehicles In Flames
The sight of two stock cars aflame from end to end ‘provided the chief spectacle at the Rlccarton-Hornby Scramble Car Club’s races on Sunday. The cars, driven by the Honey brothers, crashed through 20 bales of hay, which were blazing with the aid of 25 gallons of fuel. The cars carried on tor 50ft or 60ft after emerging from the raging inferno; the drivers were reported to be “slightly warm but well.” Results;
