TWO RIDERS FINED

Two riders were fined after the running of the Le Bon’s Handicap, the second leg of the Banks Peninsula Racing Club’s double at Motukarara on Saturday. W. Traecey, the rider of Newbrook, failed to weigh in after his mount finished fourth and was fined £lO. Newbrook was disqualified from fourth placing and Approval promoted to fourth. W. H. Beck, the rider of Race Guide, was fined £5 for changing a pair of boots after weighing out. The apprentice. B. Stechmann. the rider of Mister Bud in the Brackenfield Hack Handicap, was cautioned for attempting to move his mount out from behind the leader when there was insufficient room. Mister Bud won the event to give Stech mann hit first winning rids.
