PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation Regulation 1945, it is notified that in the above district no burning of vegetation is permitted without written authority from the Chief Soil Conservator, Waitaki Catchment Com mission, Kurow. Applications to burn off Tussock or other vegetation in the above district, must be lodged 0 with the Secretary of the Wai- - taki Catchment Commission, P.O. Box 110, Kurow, by November 30. 1965. Permission to burn may be granted in late Winter and Spring and is subject to the fole lowing conditions: r 1. Land occupiers must advise 1 their neighbours of the date and place they intend to burn before any fires are lit. s 2. All precautions must be 2 taken to ensure that fires do c not get out of hand, but re i main confined to the area for f which authority to burn has f been granted. 1 3.
