West Lead On Points
West Christchurch-Univer-sity holds a lead of half a point from East ChristchurchShirley and Riccarton in the Hadlee Trophy competition, after the first two rounds of the senior championship Umpires in senior games assess teams under their control in each match, awarding points for sportsmanship, punctuality, fielding, and dress.
The points scored so far are: West ChristchurchUniversity 34J, East Christ-church-Shirley and Riccarton 34. Old Collegians and Sydenham 31 J, Lancaster Park 29. St. Albans 28J, Old Boys 26.
